The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has asked Nigerians to disregard the news of its reduction of the pump prices of petrol and diesel.
The NNPCL through a statement by its spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, was reacting to claims on social media platforms which said the NNPCL had reduced the pump price of petrol below N600, while that of diesel was adjusted below N900.
The statement said: “The NNPC Limited wishes to clarify rumours suggesting a price adjustment for Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil at its retail stations nationwide.
