90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Jasmine Pineda is getting a chance to go back to Panama to visit her sons Juance and JC. Jasmine from Panama City in Panama used to work as an English literature teacher when she met Gino Palazzolo online. Jasmine and Gino’s romance began on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 which showed him going to Panama to see her for the first time. Jasmine was a single mom to two kids according to her introductory interview, but she chose to keep them off-camera and away from Gino.
Jasmine claimed her ex-husband didn’t allow her to reveal their sons’ identities on the show. However, Juance and JC are currently a major plot point in Gino and Jasmine’s 90 Day Fiancé storyline. Jasmine is thinking of divorce and leaving Gino to go back to Panama for good. Gino is being stingy with his money and not helping Jasmine reunite with her family, even though it’s his fault her kids can’t come to America for two years. In turn, Jasmine put their baby-making plan on hold to make Gino realize he wasn’t fit to be a father.
Gino and Jasmine crossed paths online in 2020. The couple claimed to have met on a dating website, but the truth was revealed during their 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell All. Gino and Jasmine met on a sugar baby website. Jasmine claimed her friend had put an ad for her on a sugar baby website, so she could explore international dating.
Regardless, Jasmine and Gino’s online relationship grew stronger over time. Gino decided to travel to Panama in December 2020. Gino had shared their first photo together after 10 months before meeting in person.
Jasmine told viewers about her two “beautiful baby boys.” Jasmine’s sons Juance and JC were no longer little, but she admitted that to her, they would always remain her “babies.” Jasmine had revealed her older son Juance was living with her ex-husband and her younger son usually lived with her. However, JC has a special condition. He was born with special needs and was having a really hard time living in Panama City during the lockdown. Jasmine and her mom decided that they would take JC to temporarily live in the countryside with his grandmother.
Meeting the Michigan man felt like “therapy” to Jasmine. However, Jasmine didn’t want Gino to meet her kids until she knew their relationship was serious. When Gino went to visit her mom in the countryside, Jasmine had made plans for her own to be with her ex-husband. However, once Jasmine was engaged to Gino, and she knew they had a future together, he did spend time with Juance and JC as Jasmine started posting pictures of them together on her social media.
Jasmine and Gino were together for three years before she came to the U.S. Jasmine’s K-1 visa approval process took 18 months. Jasmine was worried about the time it was taking, but Gino, who insisted on doing the paperwork himself without the help of a lawyer, was confident and positive Jasmine would make it to the U.S. without any hassles. Jasmine relocated to Michigan in early 2023. The couple got married in June 2023 in an intimate wedding attended by just 12 loved ones. Jasmine and Gino had discussed that her sons would join her in America soon.
At the same time, Jasmine was also worried about Juance and JC’s future in the country, since Gino had quit his job and was complaining about how low his savings were after spending lavishly on the wedding. Little did Jasmine know that Gino’s income was a minor worry compared to what Gino had done with her visa application. Gino had never listed Jasmine’s kids on her K-1 visa application.
Immigration lawyer Anthony Ray informed Gino that there has to be a status before it can be adjusted. He explained that Gino should have included Juance and JC on the petition and gotten it approved even if he didn’t want to bring the kids over right away. Jasmine was unsure about the future of her relationship with Gino in America and wanted to adjust to her new life before she could bring her kids over. However, that didn’t mean Gino had to leave out their names entirely from the application.
The lawyer suggested they’d need to look at the immigration petition and get immigration visas for the kids to bring them over. He said he would charge about $5000 in filing fees and representation for the next 12 to 14 months. He expected the whole process to take a maximum of two years. If Gino had put the names on Jasmine’s visa application, it would have taken only six months. Gino refused to pay the lawyer to expedite the process. It felt like a betrayal to Jasmine. She decided to go back to Panama, though it would void her K-1 visa.
Jasmine told Gino that it was the first time she had seriously considered going back to Panama. However, Gino thought she was being melodramatic as usual. When he saw that Jasmine was serious about her threats, Gino promised Jasmine he was going to work on the adjustment status of her green card ASAP. Gino was going to arrange for Jasmine’s travel documents which would allow her to travel to Panama in eight months instead of her having to wait for eight months to see her kids. It would give Jasmine the strength to go through another year of waiting.
The timeline of when Jasmine and Gino filmed this scene for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 is not known. Considering it has been a couple of months since Jasmine and Gino’s wedding, it may have been filmed in August/September 2023. Jasmine has not shared any updates about her having been to Panama recently. Even if she has, Jasmine is keeping her visit a secret for the sake of avoiding giving spoilers to fans of the show. Regardless, Jasmine is still living in Michigan as revealed by Reddit user LifeEnrchmntDictator who spotted her at a local gym.
However, there are reports that Jasmine was filming The Last Resort with Gino in early April 2024. Reddit user Beyleesi spotted Jasmine and Gino with several other cast members wandering around an Arizona property they were staying at. The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple being there means they are not in a happy place in their marriage and Jasmine may have even decided against bringing her kids to stay with Gino. Jasmine avoids posting about her kids on social media anyway, and if they do manage to immigrate, she might keep it under wraps until it’s revealed on the show.
