Drama As Two Female Presidential Candidates Clash In Public

Two presidential candidates in Mexico engaged in a heated clash on Sunday.

The incident occurred during a debate as they debated on issues of corruption, gender violence, and healthcare.

During the debate, frontrunner Claudia Sheinbaum of the ruling left-wing party and her main rival Xochitl Galvez accused each other of dishonesty.

Businesswoman Galvez criticized Sheinbaum, describing her as โ€œcold and heartless,โ€ alleging a lack of compassion for child cancer patients and earthquake victims.

Galvez also criticized Sheinbaumโ€™s approach to violent crime, stating, โ€œClaudia Sheinbaum offers you to continue hugging criminals.โ€

In response, Sheinbaum, a former Mexico City Mayor, emphasized her commitment to becoming โ€œthe first woman president of Mexico.โ€

She presented the choice as between โ€œreturning to the corruption of the pastโ€ or โ€œadvancing with the transformationโ€ initiated by President Lopez Obrador.

Lopez Obrador, the outgoing left-wing populist, enjoys an approval rating of nearly 70 per cent but is constitutionally required to leave office after one term.
