Notable companies involved in mergers and acquisitions and their advisers in East Africa have emerged as winners at the 2023 DealMakers Africa Annual Gala Awards.
The awards event, according to a statement on Friday, was held at Ebony Life Place in Lagos and also tracked the work carried out by the advisers in the mergers and acquisition and general corporate finance space during 2023.
The DealMakers Africa awards were judged based on the value of deals or transactions and, the number of them.
The statement reads in part, “Three of the awards categories were determined subjectively and done with considerable circumspection and they include the Deal of the Year, the Private Equity Deal of the Year, and the Individual DealMaker of the Year.”
