Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Auwal Jatau has been commended for displaying loyalty and support to his principal, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
The commendation was made by the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Farooq while receiving the Deputy Governor in his Palace in Azare on Sunday, urging him to sustain the tempo.
The Deputy Governor was at the Emir’s Palace on a Sallah homage in Azare, during which the Emir said that Auwal Jatau’s dedication and commitment towards supporting the vision of the Governor for the development of the state has not gone unnoticed.
Alhaji Umar Farooq also said that the Deputy Governor’s relentless efforts in supporting Governor Bala Mohammed’s initiatives and programmes have played a significant role in the journey towards the progress and prosperity of the state.
According to the Emir, with a fervent belief in inclusive governance, the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed has championed policies and initiatives that prioritize the well-being of people, regardless of their social or economic standing.

The Deputy Governor had earlier told the Emir that he was at his palace to reaffirm his total loyalty to the Emirate and to reassure him of his readiness to continue to be a good ambassador of the Emirate.
Auwal Jatau appreciated the Emir for his unwavering commitment towards the protection of lives and property of his subjects and expressed gratitude to him for his support to the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed for its success as contained in a statement by Muslim Lawal, Special Assistant (Media) Office of the Deputy Governor.
