Disney is bringing new exclusive merch to Disneyland tied to Pixar Fest 2024, and Screen Rant has a look at what visitors can expect. Pixar Fest is a Disneyland tradition that began in 2018, with the inaugural festivities including the opening of Disney California Adventure’s Pixar Pier attraction. The festival runs from April to August and boasts parades featuring popular Pixar characters, a Pixar nighttime spectacular, Pixar-themed foods, and much more.
Screen Rant is happy to present images of merchandise celebrating the best Pixar movies, exclusive to Pixar Fest 2024. Visitors will be able to celebrate one of the world’s best-known animation studios outside of the park thanks to a range of wearable items, and toys will bring some of Pixar’s most popular characters to life. Disney is offering a number of clothing items featuring characters from movies including Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, and Toy Story. Fans who can’t choose their favorite films or simply want to celebrate Pixar as a whole can purchase shirts that feature characters from movies like Turning Red and Cars side by side. Characters from Inside Out are represented as well, making Pixar Fest clothes a sharp fit for screenings of Inside Out 2. Guests can also purchase adventure hats themed to Up, colorful hoodies featuring Monsters, Inc.’s Mike or a mélange of Pixar characters, and fun backpacks and shirts tied to Toy Story.
Some of the best Disney characters will be represented across a range of toys and accessories exclusive to Pixar Fest 2024. Toy Story’s Pizza Planet is represented by Pizza Planet backpacks, tumblers, hats, and jerseys—plus figures of the iconic delivery vehicle and claw machine aliens. Limited-time medallions themed to different Pixar films will also be available to collect at machines around Disneyland Resort hotels, Disneyland, Downtown Disney, and Disney California Adventure Park.
Pixar Fest 2024 is chock-full of things to do and see. The “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade sees the best Pixar characters making an appearance—fans of Turning Red will spot Red Panda Mei, Soul viewers will enjoy seeing Joe Gardner and 22, and other characters like Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear, The Incredibles’ Mr. Incredible, and Coco’s Miguel will appear. Pixar characters like Joy and Sadness will be greeting guests inside the park, which will also offer new snacks themed to films including Luca, Ratatouille, and Soul. Pixar Fest will even extend to Downtown Disney, making the summer-long festivities available to everyone.
