The disruption in services experienced by customers of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) Limited last week has been resolved, the financial institution has confirmed.
Last week, customers of the bank could not carry out banking services as a result of the glitch, which GTBank attributed to โan unusual power surge.โ
GTBank customers, as a result of the issue, could not receive or send funds during the period, as its mobile application, GTWorld, was also affected, leaving most of them frustrated.
However, over the weekend, the company restored its services and customers were able to carry out financial transactions with ease.
In a message to customers on Monday, GTBank apologised for the โinconvenienceโ the service disruption caused, thanking them for their โunderstanding and for bearing with us during the disruption.โ
The lender said immediately it noticed the glitch, it โimmediately set to work to minimize the impactโ of the issue on customers, who trust the company for its excellent banking services.
โWe would like to sincerely apologize for every inconvenience you have experienced whilst using our services recently.
