An out-of-home advertising company, Loatsad Promomedia Limited, has announced the appointment of Ms Sophie Ejegi as managing director.
According to a statement made available to The PUNCH recently, Ejegi, who is the first female managing director since the inception of the firm, takes over from Mr Adenrele Olusoga, who recently completed his tenure in office.
The firm said that the appointment of Ejehi was consistent with the company’s executive transition tradition, succession plan, and strategy of grooming leaders from within.
Before her appointment, Ejegi was the chief operating officer at E-Motion Advertising Limited, a subsidiary of Loatsad Promomedia.
According to the firm, her journey with the company began in 2017 when she held the roles of executive assistant and operations manager.
It noted that during that time, Ejegi showcased her remarkable management and leadership capabilities, contributing to the success and growth of the organisation.
“Ejegi’s career in marketing communication commenced in 2015 when she joined 18twentyfour as a project manager in the United Kingdom.
“Her educational background includes a degree in Business with Accounting from Kingston University, London,” the firm disclosed.
It added that besides her professional achievements, Ejegi is actively involved in several industry associations, including the Women in Business Association, the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, and the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria.
