Twitter users criticize a married man for going to shop for his first child baby items with his sister without his wife’s consent

Some tweeps on the microblogging platform X have criticized an unknown man for shopping for his first child’s baby items with his sister, without his wife’s knowledge.

An online user had shared the scenario on her page which sparked a debate causing the unknown man to be dragged.

She stated that a first-time mother should be allowed to shop for her baby’s items, as it is not a moment that should not be snatched from anyone.

Her tweet read;

“You took list from your wife, went to shop you guys first offspring items with your sister without asking for her consent? You and that your sister are both silly. Robbing a first time mother the experience of shopping for her child & savouring in the moment, radarada oshi.”

The majority however agreed with her, joining her to condemn the man for not informing his wife, while others noted that the issue wasn’t a big deal to them.

Below are some of the comments,

@LadyNXY6:  No matter the good intentions he had, doing that without the consent of his wife was very wrong…. And if she refuses to use it now, they’ll tag her as problematic. I see pregnant women joyfully shopping for their babies and they both took that from her

@ps_wears:  All I know is I haven’t done shopping yet. That one you bought is extra. We will go back to the market for my own list. And you dare not say you don’t have money.

@Ejaita:  Hmmm. I’m currently pregnant with my first and honestly if anyone took this experience away from me like that, I will cry and fuss about it until I get what I want. Some men are really insensitive.

@The_Jemimah:  Lol. True, the woman was robbed of that experience, but the husband and sister had no ill intention. It’s a mistake on the man’s part, and I’m sure they can resolve the situation with proper communication.
