Alleged N19.4bn Contract Fraud: Hadi Sirika, Brother Arraigned

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned Hadi Sirika, former Minister of Aviation alongside his brother, Ahmad Abubakar Sirika over an alleged contract fraud.

Also arraigned was Enginos Nigeria Limited, a company owned by Abubakar.

The EFCC accused Sirika of awarding contracts worth N19.4 billion to Enginos Nigeria Limited.

When called, the defendants pleaded not guilty to all the counts.

Recall the defendants failed to show up in court on May 14, thus stalling their arrangements.
