Adeyinka Taofeek Temitope, Asake’s barber, popularly known as Topzycut, has announced the launch of his barbing master class aimed at helping individuals improve their barbing skills.
The class is designed to cater for beginners and seasoned barbers, offering a comprehensive learning experience beyond the basics.
Interested participants are expected to pay N500,000 for the two-day master class, according to a post on his Instagram handle on Wednesday.
The participants will have the opportunity to learn how to understand the basics, level up their skills, and create their brand value.
In his announcement, Topzycut encouraged prospective participants to take advantage of the offer.
He wrote, “Elevate your craft in just two days! Join our Barbing Masterclass for aspiring stylists and seasoned barbers looking to sharpen their skills. Don’t miss this opportunity to perfect your artistry.”
Participants will get a “certificate of participation, barber’s kit set, and 60 days of one-on-one mentorship.”
Topzycut came into the limelight in 2020 when his unique and innovative hairstyling and designs on customers’ hair went viral.
This gained public attention and that of some celebrities like Davido, BurnaBoy, Asake, and others when his unique and innovative hairstyling and designs on customers’ hair went viral.
In an interview with PUNCH in 2022, Topzycut revealed that he started his barbing career at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, where he studied Fine Arts.
He said he has worked with some top entertainers such as Burnaboy, Bnxn (formerly known as Buju); Ghanaian artiste, Black Sheriff, Darey, Larry Gaga, Qdot, Dj Obi Asake and the jeweler, Godson Umeh. I have also worked with some foreign celebrities like the American rapper, Travis Lashley, aka Trav, and others.
He added that he charged around $100 for home services.
Topzycut, who exclusively provides home and mobile services, now caters to celebrities.
In 2022, Burna Boy flew him out to give him a haircut.
