Wife
of the embattled former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, Barrister Amina
Oyiza Bello has been disqualified from becoming a Judge in the State.
This
development comes after a petition was filed, citing her connection to her husband
and former governor in the ongoing investigation into his financial dealings.
The National Judicial Council (NJC) has been commended for ignoring Bello’s
influence and taking a stand against nepotism and corruption in the judiciary.
