President Bola Tinubu has touched down in Abuja following his recent visits to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia, where he participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF).
While in the Netherlands, Tinubu engaged in official discussions, including a meeting with Prime Minister Mark Rutte. He later attended the WEF in Riyadh, where global leaders convened to deliberate on development strategies under the theme โGlobal Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development.โ
During his Dutch visit, Tinubu held talks with key officials, including King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, and participated in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum.
Following these engagements, Tinubu embarked on a trip to an undisclosed European destination, sparking speculation, controversy and fears over his whereabouts.
However, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Tunji Alausa clarified that Tinubuโs absence is not health-related, refuting claims by critics. Alausa affirmed Tinubuโs well-being and leadership, stating, โWe have a president that is well, that is healthy, and leading the country in the right direction.โ
