Former Governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal celebrates his ex-special adviser, Fabian Okoye on his birthday, 13th May, 2024.
In a recent tweet shared on X, Aminu wrote;
“Today, I join family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating Mr. Fabian Okoye, a man of great virtues who is both humble and loyal.
“Our paths crossed while I was in private legal practice and active in Civil society. At that time, Mr. Fabian was already a leading Journalist, a veteran champion of Civil liberties, and a promoter of democratic ethos.
“He later served on my staff, first as Special Adviser during my time as Minority Leader and Chief Whip then as Senior Special Assistant when I became Speaker of the House of Representatives, and finally as Special Adviser again throughout my governorship of Sokoto State.
“Happy Birthday, Fabian, and greater years ahead.”
