A Nigerian man, identified as Emmanuel Akpe, is currently trending on social media for allegedly being a serial engager who targets Christian women.
Emmanuel, who has a pattern of proposing to women and then breaking off the engagement just before the wedding, was exposed by some of his victims and their friends.
It all started when a woman named Efe Johnson shared her experience on the microblogging platform X, revealing that her fiancé called off their engagement after they had completed a formal introduction and were preparing for marriage.
Following her revelation, other X users disclosed that the young man was engaged to another woman just a year before his engagement to Efe Johnson, but it didn’t lead to marriage.
According to them, the other woman is currently a shadow of herself due to the heartbreak she suffered.
They also alleged that Emmanuel presents himself as a “Lover of God” and exploits this facade to persuade Christian women to accept his proposal, only to abandon them shortly before the wedding.
Meanwhile, the man is yet to react to the allegations and has since kept his page on private.
