Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo has sacked all the local government area transition committee (TC) Chairmen across the state.
The sack was contained in a letter signed by the Commissioner Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Tonycollins Nwabunwanne.
Soludo sacked the TC chairmen because their tenure has expired.
According to the letter, the vacation order takes effect from Monday, 20th of May and the transition committee Chairmen are expected to handover to the head of their various local government administration.
The letter reads: “Following the expiration of your tenure as Transition Committee Chairman, you are hereby directed to handover the affairs of your Local Government Council to the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), in your * respective Local Government Councils.
“This directive takes effect from Monday, 20th day of May, 2024.”
