Panic gripped residents after a man invaded a bank in Jos with bomb strapped in his body.
The unidentified man was apprehended after being found in possession of a bomb at a bank in Dadin Kowa town, located in the Jos South area of Plateau State.
Upon the discovery of the bomb, an alarm was raised, and the suspect was swiftly restrained by vigilant security personnel to prevent a potential disaster.
Zagazola Makama, a security analyst, shared details of the incident on X on Tuesday, highlighting the crucial role played by the bankโs vigilante security in thwarting the attack.
Following the apprehension, an enraged mob confronted the suspect, reportedly demanding his immediate lynching.
However, the suspect was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
A photo accompanying Makamaโs post revealed the bomb strapped around the suspectโs abdomen.
