Sunday Connections are here and today’s groupings shouldn’t cause too much trouble for seasoned players of the game. There is always a chance though that you could get caught up on an incorrect selection and lose your attempts. Luckily, if you need a little helping hand, we’ve got some hints and full-blown spoiler answers for you.
If you find yourself getting stuck too often on incorrect groupings, there is an easy way to reset your brain while playing Connections. Simply using the Shuffle button can help out when you get stuck. Mixing around the words will often help you see other combinations you may not have noticed before.
Before we spoil all of today’s Connections answers we wanted to provide a few hints in the form of the daily categories.
Yellow was the second category we scored today and it came quite quickly. RICH and WEALTHY were the obvious starters but it didn’t take long at all to see the others and score a quick win. Which is good because itโs going to be a short game and then I gotta get home for lunch.
We actually scored green in first place today. I think it has to do with our love of cooking, MINCE, DICE, and CHOP all popped up right away in our brains and we noticed CUBE almost immediately after that. Whenever we score the first category this fast it really makes us feel like the Colossus of Clout (the Colossus of Clout). CUBE, DICE, and SQUARE did try to trick us with their similarities, but it didn’t last very long.
Blue was third on our score list today and once there was only eight words left this one was noticed fast. STUFFY and SQUARE were the two that started our journey. It did take a minute to notice TRADITIONAL though as it seemed like this category was trying to lean towards insults over just being old-fashion. But what do I know, I’m just an L-7 Weenie.
The homophones strike again! I swear there will never be a day that I score correctly in a homophone category. They always end up being the leftover words for us. But that’s okay, a win is a win and I’m gonna walk away with my head held high.
