THE Federal Capital Territory Police Command has revealed that it has arrested four people in connection with the murder of retired Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwere.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, Beneth Igweh, revealed this today while parading the suspects and others who perpetrated heinous crimes at the FCT Police Command headquarters in Abuja.
He also declared two individuals wanted in connection with the murder and emphasized the Command’s dedication to apprehending them.
He also stated that the Command was able to apprehend some wanted prominent kidnappers and their accomplices, one of which is Isah Mohammed, an escapee from Kuje Correctional Centre and their chief informant.
The Commissioner observed that some criminals commit crimes in the FCT then flee to other states, making it harder for them to be apprehended.
He did, however, state that the Command is committed to maintaining the city’s highest security standards at all times.
According to an earlier statement from the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Udokwere was killed during an armed robbery on his estate on Saturday morning.
