ON Democracy Day, June 12, the Goethe Institut, Lagos is hosting “Nigeria in Transition: An Exhibition on Postage Stamps, Currency, and Beverage Bottles,” at the National Museum, Lagos,
Running through June 18, the exhibition presented by the CRIMMD Nigeria History Museum, will also feature a visual essay by Bayo Omoboriowo, on Nigeria’s transition from military rule to democracy, which was the “focus of his “Connecting the Dots” fellowship at the CRIMMD Museum over the last six months,” stated the curator of the event, Tobi Bolaji Idowu.

“The Nigeria in Transition exhibition is the third instalment of the Museum Conversation series in the “Connecting the Dots” museum project facilitated by Goethe-Institut and supported by the Ford Foundation. The event will feature an engaging exhibition talk with distinguished panelists and presentations by the young individuals who participated in the “Connecting the Dots” Youth Art Education Program,” stated Bolaji Idowu, the ProgramCoordinator for “Connecting the Dots” with the Goethe Institut.
