Tragedy struck on Eid-el-Kabir day celebration as two persons died in an auto crash that occurred at Ososa along Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode Expressway corridor of Ogun State
Three persons also sustained varying degrees of injuries from the accident
Involved in the crash was Ash Howo Truck with no registration number and Blue Toyota Camry Car with registration number APP478F.
Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Commission(FRSC) in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, confirmed this to newsmen in a statement in Abeokuta on Sunday

Okpe said that five persons (one male and four females) were involved in the auto crash, three persons ( all female adults) while the remaining two persons (one male and female adults) died on spot.
She said that the cause of the accident was as a result of over speeding and loss of control from the drivers which led to the rear collision of the two vehicles
The chief route commander said that the injured victims had been taken to General Hospital, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State as well as the corpses deposited at hospital morgue
The Sector Commander, Ogun State FRSC Command, CC Anthony Uga, sympathized with the family of the crash victims and advised motorists to desist from overspeeding and give total attention to driving.
Uga further stated that driving as an activity requires full concentration and should be given such.
