BREAKING: Tinubu Sends N70,000 Minimum Wage Bill To NASS

President Bola Tinubu has submitted a national minimum wage bill to the House of Representatives for consideration and passage.

On Thursday, the President and the leadership of the Organized Labour agreed on โ‚ฆ70,000 as the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

The federal government and the organised labour had reached an agreement on the minimum wage days ago following months of intense faceoff.

Once the two chambers of the national Assembly pass the bill, it will be sent back to President Tinubu for his assent. As soon as the President signs it, it will become law bringing the N70,000 into effect as the national minimum wage in Nigeria.
