Rivers government has inaugurated the new State Senior Secondary Schools Board and the Universal Basic Education Board in a ceremony held in Port Harcourt.
Governor Simi Fubara, who led the inauguration, emphasized his administrationโs commitment to prioritizing the education, health, and agriculture sectors.
โThe new Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board and Universal Basic Education Board have been inaugurated. Given that education is vital to our development, the boards have been tasked with prioritizing the upholding and improvement of our standards. Starting with appropriately promoting our hardworking teachers, the boards will completely revamp the educational sector,โ Fubara stated.
The governor expressed confidence in the newly appointed members, urging them to lead with excellence.
โThe appointees are trusted to lead with excellence. As we move towards 2025, the focus remains on prioritizing the education, health, and agriculture sectors,โ he said.
