Spain dealt a huge blow on England on Sunday night in Berlin to become the new champions of Europe, starving the English team of a major trophy win.
A 47-minute goal from Nico Williams put the Spanish side ahead, but this was levelled by the Three Lions through Cole Palmer from the bench just 17 minutes from normal time.
The game was looking to go into extra time until Mikel Oyarzabal put the ball in the back of the net for Spain. The goal scorer came on for the captain, Morata, to win the match for his country.
The win today in Germany was the fourth for Spain at the Euros. England was hoping to win the tournament for the first time. The English team has not won a major trophy since the 1966 World Cup it hosted.
