Tinubu Appoints Oloworaran As PenCom DG, Faleye NSITF MD 

As part of a series of appointments announced on Saturday, President Bola Tinubu has approved new heads for the National Pension Commission (PenCom) and the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran, a finance and banking expert, has been appointed as the new Director-General of PenCom, taking over from Aisha Dahir-Umar.

Oloworaran’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.

President Tinubu directed Oloworaran to bring “goal-oriented leadership” to PenCom to enhance efficiency and performance in the pension sector.

At the NSITF, Mr. Oluwaseun Faleye, a legal and corporate finance specialist, has been named as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mrs. Maureen Allagoa.

The change at the NSITF was complemented by the appointment of Mrs. Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay as the Executive Director (Operations).

Alli-Macaulay has legislative experience, having previously served as a lawmaker and Chairperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, and Job Creation.

The appointments were announced by President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
