Wife of the Anambra State Governors, Dr Nonye Soludo has offered an eight year old Mathematics prodigy, Chukwuemeka Nwuzor, full scholarship from his primary school to his Masters.
Mrs Soludo made the offer when she met with the beneficiary and his family at the government lodge in Awka on Wednesday.
The talented genius who hails from Nibo community in Awka South Local Government area of the state dazzled the governor’s wife as he was seen in a viral video solving mathematical problems and equations that are way above his level and age with ease.
She said her resolve to sponsor the child’s education to any level of his choice was to help him reach and maximise his full potential and also help him have good mentorship.
She said: “I learnt that the boy in the video was from Nibo community in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra. I immediately launched a search for him and soon found his family.
“To test his talent, I brought a calculator close and asked him different mathematical questions, formulas, equations and structures, and he answered all correctly.
“This is why I resolved to sponsor the boy’s education from his present primary school class to any level of his choice and also build mentorship around him to help him reach his full potential.
“Chukwuemeka’s breed is rare among mankind and I promise to give him all the support that he needs to grow.”
