The expectations of fans of the crossdresser, Idris Okuneye well known as Bobrisky was dashed on Monday, July 29, as their anticipation of his release from prison was postponed.
Fans were expecting him to be home on Monday, but the date has been extended due to an alleged miscalculation. Bobrisky, who was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12, 2024, after admitting to Naira abuse, faced disappointment when his release did not proceed as planned.
NaijaTimes gathered that the delay was caused by an error in calculating the release date. Bobrisky’s team, who stormed the prison to receive and walk him home were informed of the mistake.
Meanwhile the new release date is now Monday, August 5.
