Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his relief that the long-standing investigation into the club’s alleged financial breaches is finally moving towards a resolution.

“I wish, from the deepest of my heart, to go to the trial, the independent panel, I’ll say again, an INDEPENDENT panel; as soon as possible release what will happen and we will accept like always we have done,” he stressed, reinforcing his confidence in the judicial process.
Reflecting on the lengthy duration of the investigation, Guardiola added, “We’ve been three or four years talking about that so… That’s good that we know what’s going to happen, we will accept it, and focus on… I can give you all the calendar, it’s in my mind.”
