President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged civil servants in the country to follow the footsteps of the outgoing Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan.
The President said this while highlighting some of the exceptional services she offered to the nation.
A statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said that the President spoke at the State House, Abuja, during the swearing-in of the newly appointed Head of the Civil Service of the
Federation, Mrs. Esther Didi Walson-Jack.
Tinubu hailed the outgoing HoSF for her commitment to duty, loyalty, and vision, which guided the civil service through significant transformation and reforms.
He said that Yemi-Esan has set high standards for public administration, praising her dedication to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and professionalism.
”We must learn from her commitment to duty, loyalty, and great vision. She served our nation exceptionally well with dedication, guiding the civil service through significant transformation and reforms.
”Her dedication to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and professionalism has set a high standard for public administration in this country.
”As she steps down, we express our deep gratitude for her unwavering commitment and the significant impact she has made in our country. We thank you very much,” the President said.
Turning to the new HoSF, Tinubu asked her to serve the nation with integrity and transparency.
