The sophomore of the Free Digital Skills Empowerment programme of Dr Ope Banwo’s Fish for Life Empowerment Foundation has been launched.
The scheme is targeted at Nigerian youths and senior executives who intend to upgrade their knowledge in digital entrepreneurship and others.
A statement from the organisation disclosed that a 7-day virtual bootcamp from September 2 to 8, 2024, is a mandatory precursor to the comprehensive 12-week Digital Business Mastery Course.
It was explained that the virtual bootcamp comprises intensive training sessions covering digital entrepreneurship fundamentals, allowing participants to network with industry leaders and gain insights into digital business success.
As for the 12-week Digital Business Mastery Course, which is expected to commence on September 16, 2024, it will offer participants practical experience in various aspects of digital business.
Areas to be covered included book writing and publishing on global platforms, blogging for profit, freelancing and securing high-paying projects, affiliate marketing for generating passive income, e-commerce setup for launching a profitable online store, social media monetization, software creation and sales without technical expertise, and others.

The convener of Fish for Life Empowerment Foundation, Mr Banwo, disclosed that participants would have the exclusive opportunity to attend a virtual conference featuring thought leaders and industry experts themed Mass Digital Self-Employment as a Solution to Unemployment in Nigeria.
“We believe that digital skills are the great equalizer.
“Our program is not just about learning new skills; it’s about empowering people of all ages to take control of their economic futures and create sustainable businesses in the digital era,” he stated.
