Nollywood actress and film producer Sharon Okpamen has sadly passed away just days after giving birth to her second child. The news was first announced by Okpamen herself on Instagram, celebrating the arrival of her new baby. However, fellow movie producer Stanely Ontop later confirmed her death.
On social media, Ontop expressed his grief, stating, โNollywood actress and producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed away. Itโs a tragic loss for Nollywood and the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, a talented filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen @sharonokpamen. It can only get better.โ
An Instagram user claimed that Sharon Okpamenโs death was due to complications from childbirth.
In other news, Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu has stirred controversy by declaring her openness to marrying a man with multiple wives. In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Nwachukwu shared her preference for dating married men, citing their maturity and understanding.
โI donโt have relationships with single guys. I prefer married men because they are more mature. Some might not last long in bed to avoid suspicion from their wives,โ she explained.
Nwachukwu also expressed her views on infidelity, saying she values financial support over fidelity. โI donโt care if a man cheats on me as long as he provides for me. Money is love to me. I wasnโt born with poverty, and I wonโt settle for it,โ she said.
She further stated her willingness to marry a man with up to six wives if it ensures her financial comfort, emphasizing her desire for a stable and prosperous life. โIโm open to marrying a man with six wives as long as I am comfortable. My background is poor, and I wonโt end up in a poor home,โ she concluded.
