I Had Fun In Prison, Would Love To Return To Jail- Bobrisky

Cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky has said he expected a different outcome when he disobeyed his lawyer to plead guilty to spraying naira.

He was charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and served a six month jail term.

NewsNGR recalled that Bobrisky was in the eye of the storm after spraying money at a movie premiere months ago and the controversial crossdresser was released early August.

Meanwhile, Bobrisky while featuring on a YouTube interview show, Curiosity Made Me Ask anchored by Isbae U explained why he disobeyed his lawyer and pleaded guilty to the offence of Naira abuse.

Bobrisky also noted that he would love to go back to prison because he had a lot of fun there.

โ€œI see the prison that I went to as a vacation to go and rest. I have been working so hard, their decision was to break me but nothing happened to me, nothing happened to Mummy of Lagos!

โ€œI would love to go to prison again, maybe for a short term not long one ooo. The reason why I want to go again is thatโ€ฆnot that I really want to go again. These people really want to break me. I have never seen anyone they ever sentenced for spraying of Naira. It happened to me like a movie, like I am watching Netflix.โ€

He continued, โ€œIn the court I pleaded guilty, if I had told the judge that I am not guilty, she would have granted me bail and go to my house, but I told her that I am guilty and why did I tell the judge that I am guilty? The reason for this is that, what I have noticed about Nigerians is that Nigerians donโ€™t like the truth.

โ€œThe reasons why I pleaded guilty was because I was in the video and I was the one spraying money in the video. Itโ€™s Bob! So I believe that when I tell my lord, that is the Judge the truth in court. You go in there, speak the truth, sometimes the truth sets you free, sometimes it doesnโ€™t set you free.

โ€œBut I donโ€™t care whether mine is going to set me free, even my lawyer at the EFCC detention told me that when I get to court I should tell them that I am not guilty but I looked at it and said, I am the one spraying money and I did not know that spraying money, is an offence.

โ€œBut you know what, let me speak the truth to my lord whether my lord is a man or woman, I really donโ€™t care, I will tell the truth, it is now left to my lord to decide whether I will be given the option of fine, community service or anything. My lord decided to sentence me to prison.โ€

The controversial cross-dresser added that โ€œIn prison, we had our bath separately. The moment I was convicted, that was my home for a short period of timeโ€ฆI had fun when I was in the Correctional Facility. I made myself happy.

โ€œI spent my time in male correctional centre and I loved it. If they had allowed me to stay in male correctional centre, I wouldnโ€™t have fun and I wouldnโ€™t enjoy myself. When I was at male correctional centre, I was the only different person there, so people were nice to me, they showed me care, they were nice to me, so nice.

โ€œIf I was in a female centre, who would show me care, buy me food, ask if I had eaten, take care of me..

โ€œThe correctional centre is worried because of you Nigerians to put me in female prison, but I was in female EFCC custody because there were four people in a room, guys and obviously a baddie with boobs so they wouldnโ€™t want to put me among guys.

โ€œI feel great that I was in prison, people there are human beings, they are not animals. I live in two worlds right now, I am in the outside world and I was in a correctional centre, so I know the vibe there and here.โ€
