Former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode made a courtesy visit to his successor and current Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, marking his first return to the Lagos State House since leaving office in 2019.
In a post shared on Instagram, Governor Sanwo-Olu mentioned that he and Ambode discussed the future of Lagos, emphasizing the importance of building upon the solid foundation already established in the state. He expressed appreciation for Ambode’s insights, highlighting the collaborative effort needed to keep Lagos on its path of growth and development.
Sanwo-Olu shared photos from the visit and noted, “Today, I welcomed my brother and predecessor, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, back to Lagos House on a courtesy visit. Our conversation centred around the future of Lagos and building on the solid foundation already in place.
