The Lagos State Government has sealed several establishments in the Ojo area for violating the state’s Environmental Laws, 2017.
The affected establishments include; Rockslide Gospel Church, Unique Caesar & Bar, Recycling Company, New Yorker Hotel, Flex Bar & Spa Hotel, and Mountain of Faith International Gospel.
Others are Jesus International Christian Church, VLC Donald Restaurant & Event Centre, Zion Believers Church, and VLC Donald Hotel.
The establishments were sealed off by the officials of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) during enforcement exercise.
The GM of LASEPA, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, vowed that the agency would not hesitate to take actions against any establishment that fails to comply with the State Environmental Laws.
He said: “We will not hesitate to take necessary actions against any establishment that fails to comply with the State’s environmental regulations. We urge all businesses to take responsibility for their environmental impact and work with the state government to create a better future for Lagos.”
