The Abuja division of the Federal High Court was empty on Thursday as none of the vacation courts sat.
Our correspondent who visited the courts reports that they were locked up, with only a few offices open.
There was also presence of security operatives to ensure the safety of the complex.
The judiciary commenced its yearly annual long vacation from Monday, July 22, to Friday, September 13, 2024.
However, within the duration of the vacation, Justice Emeka Nwite and Justice Peter O. Lifu are billed to handle cases with urgency at the FHC, Abuja.
