Muslim faithful among the protesters of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance movement observed the two-rakat Jumaat prayers on the street while demonstrating in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on Friday.

The protest, which began in Osogbo yesterday, saw demonstrators converging at Freedom Park before marching to the popular Ola-Iya junction.

On the second day, the protesters again gathered, carrying placards and banners with various anti-government inscriptions.

They chanted songs to emphasize their demands, including an end to hunger, hardship, and high inflation rates, among other issues.

The group arrived at Ola-Iya junction from the Old Garage area around 10 AM and proceeded through Odi-Olowo, Jalayemi, and Isale Osun before returning to Ola-Iya.

At about 1 p.m., the Muslim protesters paused to observe their prayers. An operative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) joined the demonstrators in prayers.

The #EndBadGovernance protests are also being held across, with protesters demanding government action to address the economic challenges facing citizens.
