Gifted Markson
In a recent press conference, Enzo Maresca, the head coach of Chelsea, tight-lipped when he was asked about rumors linking his club with high-profile players Victor Osimhen, and João Félix.
Speculation has been rife that the club could be making a move for the Napoli striker and the Atlético Madrid forward in an effort to bolster their attacking options.
However, Maresca refused to be drawn into the transfer chatter. When pressed on the potential signings, he responded, “I’m not gonna comment on Atléti and Napoli players…”.
The coach remained firm, indicating that discussions about other clubs’ players were not something he was willing to entertain in the public domain.
Despite his reluctance to speak on specific targets, Maresca did provide some insight into the club’s transfer plans.
“The club knows exactly what I think and hopefully before the window shuts we can bring in some more players,” he added. This statement has fueled speculation that the club is still actively seeking reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
The focus now shifts to whether the club can secure any of their rumored targets or if they will look elsewhere to strengthen the squad.
With the transfer window ticking down, the coming days will be crucial for Maresca and his team as they aim to finalize their squad for the upcoming season.
