The Department of State Security (DSS) Thursday, refuted allegations of invading the headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
The NLC had accused the DSS of being among the troops of heavily armed security operatives who invaded the Labour House on Wednesday Night in Abuja.
But the service on its official X handle @OfficialDSSNG, debunked the Congress allegations.
The service wrote, “Please kindly note that the Service (DSS) did not carry out any operation at the NLC office in Abuja.”
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) had Wednesday raised alarm over the invasion of its offices at the Labour House, Abuja, where books and other valuables were carted away.
The incident which had garnered reactions from the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO) has the Amnesty International describing the raid as a “Sinister and calculated attack designed to intimidate the Labour Union”.
