Yoruba Movie Director Yusuf Olorungbede Dies

A notable director and actor in the Yoruba genre of the Nigerian film industry, Mr Yusuf Olorungbede, has reportedly died after a battle with an illness.

A renowned actress, Foluke Daramola Salako, confirmed the demise of her colleague in a post on Wednesday morning.

This has continued to generate reactions from friends, associates, and fans of the late actor, who expressed condolences for the loss.

Recall that a while ago, the actress sought the assistance of well-wishers to save the life of Olorungbede, who is also a notable movie director in the industry.

He had been placed on life support until he gave up the ghost.

โ€œAs an actor, you gave me courage; you are the first director that will invite me to a movie location and pay me, not just that alone, my feeding and personal accommodation were settled without stress.
