The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) have congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his victory in the Edo State governorship election.
The announcement was made by Imo State Governor and Chairman of the PGF, Hope Uzodimma, who lauded Okpebholo’s success as a reflection of the people’s trust in the APC’s vision for the state’s progress.
In a formal statement, Governor Uzodimma said, “On behalf of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Progressive Governors’ Forum, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo on his resounding victory as the Governor-elect of Edo State.”
He further expressed appreciation to the people of Edo for their strong support, highlighting that their vote for the APC signifies a commitment to advancing the state’s development.
“By giving their mandate to the APC, they (the people of Edo State) have reaffirmed their belief in our vision and commitment to delivering sustainable development and progress,” Governor Uzodimma stated.
Chairman of the PGF also voiced his confidence in Okpebholo’s leadership, believing that his tenure will usher in a period of remarkable progress for Edo State.
“This victory is not just a win for our party, but for the entire State and the Nation as we continue to strive for a better and more progressive Nigeria,” Uzodimma added.
He concluded by wishing Senator Okpebholo success in his upcoming role as governor, expecting his leadership to bring significant improvements to the state.
