Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has strongly condemned the recurring mistreatment of Vinicius Jr. in Spanish stadiums, emphasizing that the abuse directed at the Brazilian winger has crossed the line of what should be acceptable in football.
Speaking to the press, Ancelotti expressed his frustration over the constant whistles and insults aimed at Vinicius during matches, including even warm-up sessions.
The Real Madrid boss called for more attention to be given to the toxic atmosphere created by some fans in the stands, rather than solely focusing on the player himself.
“What happens to Vinicius every year is something that can’t be tolerated,” Ancelotti stated. “Whistles and many insults even during warm-ups—this is not normal. They shouldn’t pay much attention to Vini but should focus more on what happens in the stadiums.”
