Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, fondly called Portable, has expanded his family once again, welcoming a daughter with actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, also known as Ashabi Simple.
This marks Portable’s second child with Ashabi and his third daughter, born to three different mothers.
The couple celebrated the arrival of their first child, Anuoluwapo Fitilamihan, in June 2023, and now, just a few months later, they joyfully introduce their newborn daughter.
On the 13th of September, 2024, the 28-year-old singer shared his elation on Instagram, posting an adorable video of his baby girl swaddled in pink and several stunning pictures of Ashabi’s glowing baby bump.
In his heartfelt post, the now father of six expressed immense gratitude to God and his wife for the blessing of their daughter, while Ashabi took to social media to reveal the baby’s name, Princess Irorunloluwa Eyitayo.
She posted a video of herself, tenderly playing with her first child, capturing the magical moment of her growing family.
Curiously, the birth of their child follows a bit of turbulence between the couple.
Nearly eight months ago, Portable publicly chastised Ashabi for comments she made during an interview on Biola Adebayo’s ‘Talk To B’ podcast, urging her to respect his wife and steer clear of any rivalry.
Yet, now, the couple seems to have set aside past differences, welcoming their newest bundle of joy with open hearts.
