The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Joseph Ayodele, has urged students in the institution to give priority to their academic work as โFaith without work is deadโ.
Ayodele stated this in Ado Ekiti on Monday during the matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted candidates into the Sandwich Degree programme of the University for the 2024 Contact Session.
The VC also urged the student to always strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

He further advised the students to shun all unethical acts that can affect them negatively or tarnish the good image of the school.
โThe matriculation ceremony is the official commencement of studentsโ academic voyage in university,โ he stated.
