Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke scored his first goal for Sevilla, helping the Spanish side secure a 2-1 victory over Valladolid in a La Liga clash on Tuesday night.
The Nigerian international, who came on as a substitute in the 61st minute, showcased his flair and skill, scoring the decisive goal in the 85th minute with a stunning solo effort.
Sevilla had taken an early lead but were pegged back by Valladolid’s equalizer. Kelechi Iheanacho, another Super Eagles star, started the game and had multiple opportunities to score but was unable to find the target.
Ejuke’s late goal, however, ensured Sevilla walked away with all three points, marking an impressive display from the Nigerian winger as he opened his account for the club. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Sevilla, with Ejuke’s contribution sealing the win.
