The CEO of Global Knowledge Consulting Group, Dr Steve Ogidan mni, has emerged the new President of Turnaround Management Association (TMA Nigeria).
Dr Ogidan, who is also the Managing Consultant, Successory Team, was elected over the weekend to lead the Nigerian chapter of the global association.
A statement on its website describes TMA-Nigeria as the most professionally diverse organization in corporate restructuring, renewal, and corporate health space.
The association is the leading industry association worldwide in business turnaround and distressed asset recovery and management by supporting its members and providing them with key skills such as knowledge, key expertise and experiences from key business rescues that would benefit members in future rescues.
Established in 1988, TMA has almost 10,000 members in 54 chapters worldwide, including 34 North American chapters. Members include turnaround practitioners, attorneys, accountants, advisors, liquidators, and consultants, as well as academic, government employees, and members of the judiciary.ย
Dr. Ogidan attended Columbia Business School and is an accredited trainer by the International Labour Organization, ITC/ILO, Turin, Italy.
He is also a World Bankโs International Finance Corporation (IFC) Business Edge Trainer and a MasterCard Foundation Scholar at the School of Africa Microfinance.
Dr Ogidan will assume his new role on 1st October 2024.
He will be taking over from Dele Bello-Williams.
