Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has vowed to extend development projects across all areas of the state as he campaigns ahead of the November governorship election.

During visits to Ifedore, Akoko South-East, and Akoko South-West Local Government Areas, he made promises to tackle local security issues and improve infrastructure.

Speaking at the palace of Oba Akinsunloye Oyolola of Isua Akoko, Aiyedatiwa reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance.

โ€œWe want every part of the state to feel the impact of the government,โ€ he said.

Addressing security, he pledged to continue strengthening the Amotekun Corps, adding that โ€œwe recognize the importance of security and have equipped our security outfits with operational vehicles.โ€

Aiyedatiwa also addressed concerns about local infrastructure, particularly roads and healthcare.

โ€œThe Isua road will receive attention soon, and we are committed to upgrading healthcare services to provide better care for the people of the local government,โ€ he promised.

With a large turnout for his campaign, Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude, urging supporters to back him at the polls.

โ€œThis crowd shows the faith you have in what we have achieved together. But I appeal to you, donโ€™t let this love end with todayโ€™s welcome. On November 16, I need you to translate it into votes.โ€

In his remarks, Oba Akinsunloye commended the governor for appointing indigenes of the community to his administration, saying, โ€œThis gesture has given us a sense of belonging, and we thank you for recognising our people.โ€

The traditional ruler pledged the communityโ€™s support for Aiyedatiwaโ€™s re-election.
