Breaking: From Libya, Super Eagles delegation return to Nigeria

Blueprint can authoritatively report that Nigeria’s Super Eagles have just touched down the ancient City of Kano on Monday evening from Al Abraq Airport where the team were subjected to maltreatment for 16 hours less than two days to Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.

An official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) who disclosed this to Blueprint said the team’s first landing point in Kano was to enable the ValueJet chartered aircraft refuel before heading to Abuja later on Monday.

He said the plane will also move to Lagos, it’s last destination.

The flight had to return before scheduled time on Tuesday night/Wednesday after the Super Eagles boycotted their AFCON match due evil treatment by the Libyan government officials.
