The management of Kaduna Electric has asked its customers to always pay their electricity bills in full and not in part, warning that failure to adhere to this could lead to disconnection.
The company said this in a notice to its customers on Thursday signed by the Head of Corporate Communication of Kaduna Electric, Mr Abdulazeez Abdullahi.
The energy firm said consumers of electricity whose power supply was disconnected due to the failure to pay the bills in full may have to pay a reconnection fee.
โWe kindly remind you that timely and full payment of electricity bills is to maintain uninterrupted power supply.
โNon-payment and half payment are unacceptable. Failure to settle your electricity bills in full can result in disconnection of the power supply and a resultant charge in reconnection fee.
โTo avoid these consequences, please pay your bills promptly and in full. Payment options are available online and at our authorised cash centres,โ the statement seen by Business Post said.
