Mo Abudu to receive visionary leadership award at Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting

THE Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) is set to honour Mo Abudu with the prestigious Visionary Leadership Award at its upcoming Breakfast Meeting on October 8, 2024, at the Lagos Continental Hotel.

This recognition comes as Abudu celebrates her 60th birthday and acknowledges her significant contributions to Nigeriaโ€™s entertainment and media sectors.

The Breakfast Meeting, themed โ€œHow the Changing Banking Sector Landscape Can Support Nigeriaโ€™s Socioeconomic Reforms,โ€ will feature Mr. Kenneth Opara, Immediate Past President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, as the guest speaker.

A panel discussion will follow, moderated by Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi, Founder/Chairman of Proshare, with distinguished discussants including Mrs. Margaret Olele, CEO of the American Business Council, and Dr. Omolara Akanji, former Director of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, Founder of Woodhall Capital, praised Abuduโ€™s work, stating that it has โ€œelevated the creative landscape in Nigeria and contributed to the countryโ€™s global presence.โ€

This partnership between Woodhall Capital and NACC aims to facilitate discussions benefiting businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.

As Nigeriaโ€™s foremost bilateral chamber, established in 1960, NACC continues to promote trade and investment between Nigeria and the United States.

Woodhall Capital, a leading financial advisory firm, has raised over $5 billion from global funding sources to support local financial institutions, multinationals, and conglomerates in Nigeria and Africa.
