Renowned gospel actor, Abel Martins, has revealed his choice to step away from Christian film productions.
During a candid and now widely debated interview with Dele Adeyanju on “The Journey,” the role interpreter recounted a negative experience working with acclaimed filmmaker Mike Bamiloye.
Martins shared that he felt deeply betrayed by fellow industry members, which contributed to his decision.
“I know we have come to fight a war in this world. Heavy is part of why I make up my mind that I won’t take part in any Christian production again,” he said.
He went on to reveal that his regular partnerships with filmmaker Mike Bamiloye sparked envy among his peers, eventually leading to a malicious scheme aimed at ruining his good name.
Expressing gratitude to Mike Bamiloye for his steadfast loyalty and strong moral character, the actor noted that Bamiloye remained by his side through his most challenging times.
